Key Scripture
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)
Reflection
There was a time when the night was not peaceful. I saw things that looked spiritual but left me empty: vivid dreams, strange sensations, a feeling of floating in the dark. Some moments were terrifying; others felt numb, like drifting through space. Deep down, I knew something was wrong, yet pride whispered that I could handle it — that I understood what was happening. The truth was, I didn’t know God, and the enemy used that blindness to exhaust me.
Each “vision” promised enlightenment, but it only chained me tighter. The attacks left me drained and fearful, unsure of what was real. Looking back, I see now that I was wrestling not with my mind but with powers of darkness that wanted to keep me away from the Light.
When I encountered Jesus, everything changed. Prayer became my first defense and my daily refuge. I began calling on the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—not as a ritual, but as a lifeline. The same nights that once filled me with fear now remind me to praise Him for His protection. Even in the darkest hours, Jesus stands beside me.
Today’s Steps
- Read Ephesians 6:10–18 and note each piece of God’s armor. Ask God which one you need most right now.
- When fear stirs, speak aloud: “Jesus Christ is Lord. His light drives out all darkness.”
- End your day with thanksgiving instead of worry—thank Him for guarding your rest.
Prayer
“Father, thank You for rescuing me from fear and confusion. I trust You to guard my nights and fill them with peace. Teach me to stand firm in Your armor, to pray in the Spirit, and to remember that the battle belongs to You. Amen.”
