Key Scripture
“And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” – 2 Corinthians 11:14 (NKJV)
Reflection
When Jesus opened my eyes, it was both freeing and unsettling. I felt the weight of false light lift off me, but I also doubted myself. I didn’t yet know Scripture well, and for so long, I had trusted my own understanding. I believed I was searching for truth, yet I was walking in chains disguised as enlightenment.
The moment the enemy turned on me, everything became clear. What once seemed like peace revealed itself as control. What looked like knowledge became confusion. But this time, I wasn’t fighting alone, God was with me. Once I realized that, no fear could hold me the same way again.
Jesus taught me that real light doesn’t demand endless effort or hidden wisdom. It offers love, peace, and forgiveness without conditions, only trust and surrender of the heart. Some think surrender sounds difficult, but we give our hearts away to the world so easily every day without realizing it. Why not give them to the One who created them?
If you’re chasing peace through energies, philosophies, or spiritual movements that sound right but lead you away from Christ, pause. Don’t assume you’re safe or in control. The enemy’s light blinds, it never heals. True light comes only through Jesus Christ, and His peace never turns against you.
Today’s Steps
- Read 2 Corinthians 11:13–15 and reflect on how subtle deception can appear.
- Ask God to expose any areas of “false light” in your life, habits, influences, or ideas that distract from Him.
- Write down one truth from Scripture that brings peace to your heart today.
Prayer
“Lord Jesus, thank You for exposing the false lights that once blinded me. Help me walk only in Your truth, not my understanding. Teach me to trust Your peace and surrender my heart completely to You. Amen.”
